Welcome to
Foster Family Services

Foster Family Services is an agency that provides a range of in-home services for you and your family.

Home Help Program
for Veterans, the Elderly, and Individuals with disabilities.

This program allows for veterans, seniors and those who are disabled to age in-place in their own homes. Veterans, seniors and individuals with disabilities often need assistance to maintain their required level of care. The help offered by family and friends sometimes falls short. The Home Help Program of Foster Family Services fills in these gaps to provide a level of care that is necessary for you or your loved ones to remain in their homes.

In this program home health aides have successfully passed background checks, gone through an extensive interview process, and have been fully registered with the state of Michigan. Upon your approval, a home health aid will be placed in your home to provide assistance with activities of daily living.

These activities include but are not limited to:
- Personal grooming
- Light housekeeping
- Running errands
- Transportation within the local community.

Respite and Extended Stay
for Veterans, the Elderly, and Individuals with disabilities.

These services can be provided to you in your home. This program endeavors to avoid placement in long-term living facilities such as assisted living and nursing homes. Such arrangements can destroy a family financially.

Our goal is to foster long-term independence by supporting and strengthening the consumer's natural support system whenever possible. We help families do this by keeping their loved ones in their homes.

In this program Home Health Aides help seniors with daily living activities such as the following:
-Grooming
-Bathing
-Feeding
-Light housekeeping
-Errand running and
-Companionship
The Home Health Aid will provide these services for extended periods of time or until the main caregiver returns.
